Obituary for Herman Lee Wiseman

Herman L. Wiseman, 75, of Elyria passed away Monday November 22, 2021 at U.H. Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born April 6, 1946 in Raleigh, WV. And was an Elyria resident for most of his life. Herman was employed at the Ford Motor Company in Lorain as an assembler, retiring after 30 years. He was a member of Refuge Church in Elyria, was a master gardener and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norine (nee-Schildt); daughter, Becky (Rick) Mansell; son, Dan (April) Wiseman; daughter-in law, Robin Wiseman; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. He was preceded in death by his son, Rick Wiseman, 1 sister and 1 brother. The family will receive friends Friday November 26, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at 3:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Pastor Chad Britt of Refuge Church will Officiate. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be expressed at www.laubenthalmercado.com
