Obituary for Frank W. Wilkosz

Frank W. Wilkosz, 85, of LaGrange passed away Sunday November 25, 2018 at U.H. Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born March 25, 1933 in Brecksville and was a LaGrange resident for most of his life. Frank was a self-employed farmer, served in the United States Coast Guard and enjoyed fishing, dog training and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Helena (nee-Wazinska); daughters, Susan (Dan) Farmer and Emila (Daniel) Ashdown; son, Matt Wilkosz; 4 grandchildren; brother, Marion Wilkosz. He was preceded in death by a sister, Genevieve Wilkosz and a brother, Eugene Wilkosz. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday November 30, 2018 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. The Rev. John P. Seabold, pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton will Officiate. Burial will be at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be expressed at
