Obituary for Daniel Roy Sharp

Daniel Roy Sharp, 68, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. He was born May 31, 1952 in Elyria and was a 1970 graduate of Elyria High School. Daniel worked for Ridge tool as a tool and die maker for 25 years and also worked for Nordson Corp. and Moen Inc. He proudly served his Country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and was stationed in Thailand. Daniel was a member of the Elyria Eagles. He enjoyed motorcycles. Survivors include his sister Judy Trent ( Roger Martin) of S. Amherst; brother David (Vickie) of N. Ridgeville; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Edith Sharp (nee Whitted); brother Kenneth. Celebration of Life 6 PM until time of service at 7PM Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria, 440-322-4626, where full military honors will be provided by VFW post # 1079. Burial Private. Online condolences may be expressed at www.laubenthalmercado.com
