Kimberly J. (Herwig) Quinn

Kimberly J. Quinn (Herwig) passed away at age 54 on Thursday April 25th, 2024 after a short, but brave, battle with cancer.

Kimberly was born to Dale and Cordilla Herwig on May 24th, 1969 in Elyria, Ohio. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and Grams.

Kimberly enjoyed walking her dogs at Carlisle Reservation, cheering on her 15 year old son Ryan at his various sporting events, spending time with her family, and going to movies - mainly for the refreshments. Her order: pretzel bites, a small popcorn, and a box of Cookie Dough Bites.

Although Kimberly was a fantastic cook, she often preferred going out to eat. She would call each member of her family until she found someone available to meet her at a restaurant - usually Denny’s or Cracker Barrel, her favorites.

Kimberly was a devoted vegetarian and animal rights activist for the last 33 years of her life; a lifestyle she passed down to all four of her children.

It is these small details of Kimberly’s life that will keep her alive in the hearts and memories of those who loved her.

Kimberly is survived by her loving husband of almost 16 years, Ryan. Her children Kristina Wondrak (Brett), Ashley Butterworth, Michele Mauro, and son Ryan. Her grandchildren Eva and Lucas. Her mother Cordilla Herwig. Her sister Victoria Herwig and brother Dale R. Herwig Jr. Her “bonus daughters” Cambrie and Madison Brown. And her fur babies, Maisie and Pickles.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her father Dale Herwig Sr. and her niece Bianca Herwig.
